Roll Out of Chulalongkorn Engineering Knowledge Transfer Unit (EKTU)

On March 26, 2021 Chula ISE organized the Roll Out of Chulalongkorn Engineering Knowledge Transfer Unit (EKTU) at Chulapat 14 Building, 9 th floor from 1.00-2.30 p.m. The title of EKTU is Enhancing Next Generation Automotive Technology Competency in Thailand Automotive Sector. This EKTU is supported by the UNITED project under Erasmus+ Program. The objectives of EKTU are as follows.

• Educate the industry technical people with Hybrids/EV technology
• Include some content from UNITED training in the university curriculum (Modern Propulsion Systems course and special workshop course) to prepare students for better employment
• Organize academic service workshop for industries by collaborating with strategic partner
• Use the equipment to illustrate and use in hands-on training

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, ISE Director, reported the progress of the UNITED project under Erasmus+ Program and the vision and mission of the EKTU. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawatchai Charinpanitkul, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering gave an opening speech. Participants included the faculty members who are trainers of EKTU, students from Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME) program who are teaching assistants, and the representatives from a private company.
