The International School of Engineering (ISE) was established in 2005 by the Faculty of Engineering of Chulalongkorn University to provide interdisciplinary knowledge combined with genuine international experience.

ISE is regionally recognized as the most preferred (Top Choice) International Engineering School in ASEAN.
To produce world-class international engineers equipped with the required skills and knowledge by offering cutting-edge programs that address global and local challenges.

Additional undergraduate program in SEMI began.
- 2015
AUN-QA initiative was launched.
- 2012
All four ISE curricula were revised to include common first-year courses.
- 2006
Additional undergraduate programs in AERO and ICE began.
- 2005
Undergraduate programs in NANO and ADME began.
- 2002
ISE appointed its first Director.

The Chula ISE Board was established to oversee AUN/SEED-Net students.
