Dr. Aung Pyae, a lecturer in the Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) Program at the International School of Engineering (ISE), Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, received the Best Session Paper Award at the 13th International Conference on Technical Education (ICTE 2026) for his research titled “ Verification Without Distrust: Reframing User-Side Oversight as Routine Epistemic Governance in Everyday Human-Chatbot Interaction. ”

His research contributes to the field of Human-Centered AI by examining human oversight, trust, and responsible interaction in human–chatbot systems, emphasizing the importance of transparent and trustworthy AI technologies.
