On April 25th, our talented students proudly presented their innovative projects at the AerCap ESG Challenge 2025. We were honored to have Mr. Joe Millar, Head of Technical (APAC) at AerCap — the world's largest aircraft leasing company — join us as an honorary judge.

A special congratulations to Team HKT, the winning team!

Their project, the "Sustainable Aviation Initiative for AerCap," proposed bold solutions to reduce carbon emissions through fuel-efficient aircraft, integrate bio-based and recyclable materials, and establish a comprehensive recycling program for retired aircraft — offering new revenue opportunities and advancing AerCap’s leadership in sustainable aviation.

A heartfelt thank you to AerCap, not only for supporting this event but also for their continuous investment in education. Last year, AerCap generously awarded multiple scholarships to our aerospace students, empowering the next generation of aviation leaders.
